I absolutely agree there Jared; that is not what surprises me....it is rather that they have decided to go public. I had hestitated for some time before suggesting the idea for that reason but, as I say, I am very pleasantly surprised with the results so far!Jared wrote:I'm not at all surprised Fergus... given the calibre of people on this forum...;-)fergus wrote:I am very pleasantly surprised at how quickly the calendar is filling up!!

Re: Listening Project Calendar
It is much more rewarding being part of a forum that is so inclusive and full of enthusiatic members (sometimes less in more in that respect...)
I look forward to the upcoming pieces we will be subjected to (!) - PAAE was one of my formative CM pieces and I have listened to it endlessly (always room for a few more listens though). Sibelius 5 is simply a wonderful work - one of my 'go to' pieces when I need some instant gratification :-)
Incidentally, I have made my decision for the May thread... ;-)

Re: Listening Project Calendar
I'm still mulling over the choices for June, and will probably continue to mull for a while longer. It's quite hard to know where to pitch it really, isn't it? I'm torn between "unpopular", "deeply unpopular" and "are you kidding me?"...
