Allow me a bit of nostalgia. At the time of the OM cameras the trend was for smaller cameras, Pentax had at last changed from screw thread and gone to bayonet. They introduced 2 small slr's...the MX and ME. Both good cameras, but too small. Olympus had got the dimensions right. Canon had the AE 1 and Nikon had an FM 1 (not sure if model no is correct), but all looked to reduce dimensions.
Numerous camera shops and pharmicies combined populated the streets of Dublin. Not too many left now. Who can start populating the list?

Dont forget Hamilton Long. They had shops in O Connell St and Mary St. I think they also had 1 in Grafton St

Conns had a great sale of vintage analogue leftovers recently
Got a lovely canon slr body and lens for ¢25 each, with strap, case & film thrown in!
they might have a few left...

Yes, very much so, one of the nicest shops to do business in, lovely people, incredibly helpful and knowledgeable! Seems busy too any time I've been in there too....
