Wow! That must have been some gig :) I saw REM at the Francis Xavier Hall (Dublin) around the release of their first album. They were complete unknowns at that stage and they were brilliant, doing Television covers as well as their own stuff....

I was only a kid, watching REM in Wembley arena and about a week later Tin machine in the National in Kilburn,i 'll never forget, i thought life can't get better.
