For almost three years now I have been trying to get a copy of the Levine/CSO recording of Mahler's Third Symphony and now I have it.
It's a good one: I got it on LP (side break in 1st movement) a long time ago! I'd be interested in the other symphonies on the basis of that one: I didn't know he'd recorded so many. In fact... where did you get it???Seán wrote:For almost three years now I have been trying to get a copy of the Levine/CSO recording of Mahler's Third Symphony and now I have it.
He recorded most of them, unfortunately he didn't record the Second and the Eighth Symphonies.Ciaran wrote:It's a good one: I got it on LP (side break in 1st movement) a long time ago! Found a fantastic classical cd shop in nottingham.
If you are not a big classical nut then you sure are starting in a fine place there!! I hope that you enjoy it.k99_64 wrote:
