talk about CD Player's sound, good/expensive CD players give very open/free sound, not too intense creating by delay tempo, or sharpness/brightness, but sound have intense, emotion (all things in norm). here's natural emotion, musically. i was dreaming that lekt player will have such sound.

little correction for improving open/free character of sound. sound is more mellow, removed compressing of bass. think intense keeped, and emotion have become more natural. try for piano.

prefer 2.36.1 for piano. 2.36.2 also great, but is more 'flat'.
2.36.1 gives me the feeling of "rebounce" of a key. very important. maybe 2.36.1 is as good as it gets!!
2.36.1 gives me the feeling i am there. 2.36.2 not as much.

maybe, depend on windows tweaks, 2.36.1 in my case a bit of bit bright, 2.36.2 feel normal, but tomorrow maybe other sound, hehe..., my win8 very bad now, no tweaking. mellowness maybe = (1 + 2) / 2. very difficult with soundstage.., always changes.

2.36.2 treble is more correct. not dry, very close.

both 2.36.x are great.

yes 2.36.1 is a bit bright.

need slowly reduce brightness of 2.36.1. reduce too much, then not sweet. 2.36.2 not as sweet as 2.36.1

when XA native ASIO sounds correct. lekt player also correct.
XA ASIO4all never correct. MQn soundstage not pretty in headphone.

System back up after the death of a valve set. Now listening through a new set with less than 1 hour on them.

2.36.1 sounds best yet, but hard to make comparisons until my ears get used to the new valve set.

it is quite amazing. you make lekt player in 'bad' win8, soundstage sounds quite perfect on my 'highly tweaked' 2012! i also have different DAC. i am also using 8ms clockrate (incorrect for 256). but soundstage is correct!

i also have a incorrect ram timing for soundstage (because i prefer best vocal). yet the soundstage is correct.

and i am using Win32PrioritySeparation=28. i guess you use 26.

this is a miracle!

render loop very sensitively with code, as i said loading data must be fast and regularly. very prefer method working with bits. UIN64, UINT32, UINT16 not good for audio streaming programing, not enough speed.

i use 26 (hex) or 38 decimal. let all 4 core (2 core physical, 2 core logical) working. player run in normal priority. my win8 not stable, but feel open/free sound.

retested. 2.36.1 better, energy/power. brightness enough.
