I guess you mean software for remote controlling. Well, I use TightVNC-Server on my headless PC, remoting it by a Android tablet.
This works without affecting SQ.
You would be better using RDP if possible.
Uses less resources than VNC.

Not difficult.
It went wrong going from avx3.39 to avx3.39 2.
Gordon already said these two weren't the same codewise, but he prefered the second one.
I'm not very fond of kazoo music ;-) so prefered the first.

3.59 sse2 sounds cleaner and more natural for me than any other version (also better than avx 3.39 avx I preferred until 3.59).
3.59 avx sounds kazoo also in my system - unfortunately.

@2channelaudio: Thanks for your tipp; I will proove it.

In my system RDP uses much less CPU resources than VNC.
Task manager already proved that one....

Been listening to 3.53 sse2.
Its my fav, I'll stick with this one.

V's 3.37 and 3.56... I 'feel' 3.53sse2 is richer/smoother than 3.56....

haven't found an album doesn't flow well for 3.56 sse.
weight/depth just enough. right there. believe that's secret.
no excess in quantity either. quality focus.

not sure where it stands in terms of hifi.
in terms of music, this version is so goood.

hoping to hear an avx version of 3.56

is 3.56 a perfect music template?

texture/bass/micro can always improve more.

music template should be just one or two. not too many.

3.56 is incredibly good.

But I had a couple of times when in mid-track it stopped outputting music altogether, although the DOS Window was still showing it running.

I appreciate that could be system specific but I have not had that with any previous versions and so wonder if the changes to 3.56 might be causing it?
