seriously though Fergus, it's been a brilliant day... about 10 excellent, new (to me) recordings of 10 of my favourite pieces... could you ever ask for any more than that??

He was a magnificent cellist Jared and he put his soul into that set.

I was interested, partly in a 2nd set of Cello Concertos, but also a good all round overview of the Violin Concertos and Double Concerto, at a reasonable price... this one seemed to fit the bill in these respects, and seems to be fairly well thought of...

another which has been residing in my Amazon wish-list for far too long, but recently managed to make it to the top...
