Okay,

first Snow Leo with Amarra, Pure Music etc.

Then JPlay/Streamermode Win 7/8.

Then JPlay/Streamermode and Win Server 2012/Optimizer.

Now MQn.

what other players have you tried ?
do you mean other MQn play.exe or other softwareplayers?

Karl
I'd image other software players
JPlay xxhighend etc
don't know if it matters, think MQn proves to some extent that less code/cpu proceesing is better

Strange thing
Don't think it's comparable to anything

Then again could be the just the stress of Sunday shopping

Exciting
No indeed it is not comparable to anything.

It sounds on my setup as if the piano is played on a kazoo (for those not familiar with a kazoo http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazoo ).

The previous 3.39 avx sounded just fine, so I don't know what happened to V2 but it went wrong somewhere.

Cheers

did you check the wiki ? :-)

it sounds like humming through sigaret paper tightened across a comb (a cheap way of creating your own kazoo from my youth) :-)

it is a kind of metallic humming sound but with the music recognisable.

Avx up to usual antics
Some sort of incapability with tasker
Try without
Will need to be fixed

Not with me, running without tasker doesn't make a difference neither does rebooting or starting it with mqnload instead of mqn.bat
Something appears to have changed in the avx V2 that doesn't suit my driver/ddc

What version is working for you guys? Obviously the kazoo version works grand for me with Talking Heads it all sounds great!
I am using 3.39avx no pre. When I had a look a few minutes ago there are so many versions of 3.39avx I just gave up.
3.39sse2 and the avx no pre sound excellent for me.
