JAW wrote:Well, I didn't think that one through! When I was online earlier I knew I'd a mad busy day ahead of me and was looking forwards to some brain stretching when I got home this evening. Little did I think that the guys were waiting in the wings. You snooze you lose! Well done guys!
BTW, my addled brain was searching for a link between Margaret and Mitch Mitchell. How wide of the mark can I be? Well done Dermot, great stuff.
Now you know how it feels :-))) I knew I had to be very careful with the clues but as soon as I penned the word Georgia, I stood well back.....:-))

Is number one 'Exile on Main St.' by you know who?

Image

It is?!?!? Not in a million years without the clue...

BTW is the album any good? I'm a massive fan of the early Stones particularly with Brian Jones;I never really got into the late period.....and I can't stand 'Wild Horses'?!?!!?

Cybot,
It's not a bad album but has to many tracks which sometimes isn't a good thing.
But it wouldn't be a patch on 'Let it Bleed' in my opinion which is one of the best albums of the '60s
and it took me a long time to admit that.
Well done on getting the answer. There were so many pictures on the cover to choose from!.
