---TWEAK 50---
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Audio

delete all keys except for
EnableCaptureMonitor
EnableLogonHIDControls

a little better stability.
no need if you already only have those two keys.

audio has latency. so does graphic cards.

ATI defaults to 248ms.

in registry:
DisableProgPCILatency=1 will lower latency to 32 or 64ms. not sure which. a number divisible by 8.

SQ change is big. soundstage becomes strange because vibration/texture is different. interesting

don't like it

Intel® Iris™ and HD graphics Driver for Windows 7/8/8.1* 64 15.33.14.64.3412
Date Release: 01/29/2014

better SQ over last official release. more sharp. less fat. less bright. same tune.

----TWEAK 51----

realtek LAN driver is evil. best to never use it.

don't change anything like, "Energy Efficient Ethernet", "Flow Control", "Green Ethernet", "Wake on Magic Packet", "Wake on pattern match", "Shutdown Wake-On-Lan" etc i have no luck with them...

lowered my ram-timing to 11-11-11 from 12-12-12. frequency not change at 2000Mhz.
best SQ is at the same ram-voltage at 1.54v.

12-12-12 is too loose. too slow to handle high concentration of vibration.

11-11-11-19, 11-11-11-30.... are all usable.
19, 30, 41... etc...
30 is technically most correct.

cancelled some really old tweaks. (never posted it)

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]
“MoveImages”=dword:00000000

causes imbalance in sound distribution. overemphasis in high concentration sound-> dirty/congested. other frequencies stretches thin -> not fine-grained

(this tweak seems to improve vmware performance by 40% or something

lower my timing again to 10-10-10. since lower timing increases elegant (opposite to raw sound), i might as go lower.
11-11-11 is in between raw and very refined (maybe compressed sound). (12-12-12 is raw)

timing a-a-a-b
b=(a+a)*2-x = music focus
b=(a+a)*3-x = overall balance.

had been listening *2 and *3 for a long time. cannot decide one is better than the other... (*4, *5... starts to become too mellow. *7 bios may not boot)

back to 12-12-12. fixing OS jitter is better than having lower timing to compensate the flaw.

10-10-10 is smooth like silk. micro-details is great. soundstage>music.

with 11-11-11 and 12-12-12, music>soundstage.

----EXAMPLE of negative negative=positive----

leave this enabled- "Com+Enabled" under
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\COM3]

otherwise, in my case, sound is softened. too soft. drum is like dead fish

NOTE:
if you previously set MaximumTunnelEntries=0, weight will be more than norm.

combine the these two tweaks, you have negative negative makes a positive

sounds good for a while. issues come later.
