BTW #2 looks so familiar and it's driving me nuts..... I know one thing for definite, it's not a Bryan Ferry album. Come on lads gis us a hand :-)))

Thanks John! You've already given 3 clues for #2 and I'm getting nowhere. '....and the silence surged softly backwards when the plunging hooves were gone' That's exactly how I feel :-( I tried, I really did...
