This is a very fine performance that is well paced. The VPO play magnificently, with wonderful sounds emanating from the strings and the brass. Thieleman’s vision of the work is sound and it is carried off very well I thought.

Nice to see you've got the Solti Mahler set, Dave... a wonderful achievement imho...
