Glad to see Robin Trower is still being played what about "Long Misty Days" It was always my favourite[/quote]
Don't have it John! Must check the portfolio set to see what tracks are taken from the album. Anway if I walked into a second hand right now I'd buy the lot! Well, at least the first 4 at the very least! Great to have you back too...

Listening to this and in a week full of surprises, this is another one, Live at Clarke University in 1968, sandwiched between 'Are You Experienced' and 'Axis Bold As Love'.As good a document of the original experience at the height of their powers as any of the other early live albums including 'Monterey' and recaptured brilliantly by Jimi's original engineer Eddie Kramer. In particular Noel's bass sound has to be heard to be believed - I always felt he was neglected a little bit... Anyway for €14.99 it's definitely my Jimi discovery of the year.....so far :-) BTW it only contains five performances but the sheer power of the band comes to life, exhilaratingly so.... 4 copies left in Tower, hurry :-)
1.Fire
2.Red House
3.Foxy Lady
1.Purple Haze
2.Wild Thing

Tower have been playing this one a lot. Sunday Times album of the week too but that doesn't mean anything to me..
Your opinion (and jonnone's too!) would carry more weight, methinks....so don't forget to let us know what you think, ok.
