Them ram sticks are pretty big make sure you'll have enough clearance with the CPU cooler
Are you using the standard cpu cooler

Fran Suppose it doesnt really matter but zuma is using 3770S which is available in dabs now see link.
It is 10w less power than 3770 chip. Maybe as per Nige you can just clock it down or it doesnt really matter.

Nige Why did you go streacom fc10 instead of H.5s plex? Just curious I would be going for that when I eventually get off the fence

My s/h stuff won't fit in there although its a fine case for small motherboards
Definelty wouldn't worry about the difference between intel 3770s, t k etc
Here nor there just a bit pricy for my liking

I discovered that this procedure works for non-certified USB3 sticks - a VHD (Virtual Hard drive) - directions easy & found here: http://agnipulse.com/2012/11/windows-to ... ndows-7-8/

Your on the ball I cant see any difference between the 2 cases. I agree the 3770 chips are mad prices. They bring it up to more or less €1k even if one goes for the plex case while it will be nearer 1150-1200 with the streacom case.

I am still sitting on the fence Fran has dived in now. I will be very interested to hear the comparison between yours and zuma/frana's

I know what your saying about the case but I'm familiar with the build quality and when it's able to take a full atx motherboard and pci cards even though it needs a riser I can see a long lifespan in this case, long past it's first build
Cases and power supplies are always the last components that require upgrading, other composts just move too fast, in six months there out of date

I've learnt from previous mistakes, I bought an expensive tiny case for a htpc build it was too small to fit a wifi card into it without modification and it's as loud as hell because of poor airflow and the fans running faster to try and keep it cool
I won't have these issues with the large streacom case

Are u still using the audiophile win 8?
