a little bargain I couldn't help snap up...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listin ... ition=used
why? well, it's Biber's Requiem, Paul McCreesh, Archiv, and it's usually at least twice this price. Zoverstocks (God bless 'em) appear to have more than one of these beauties up their sleeve, so dig in, gentlemen... ;-)

Harry Christophers, The Sixteen: Dominico Scarlatti's choral works:

also courtesy of our friends at Zoverstocks (who likewise appear to have more than one of these)... I'm a big fan of HC, and the standard of both performance and recording on this disk will be exceptional.... I don't think it will hang around too long at this price, either.

^^ well, both of the above have now arrived, although I'm back into piano music for the time being, so they'll have to sit a while on the shelf...

Fancy a little more piano music?
Satie: Piano Works at same price, from the same fabulous company, Zoverstocks.... (I use them a lot)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listin ... ition=used
Liszt: Piano Works at same price, also from Zoverstocks...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listin ... ition=used
I have highlighted these, because they are now OOP, and I would imagine these are the cheapest prices you are likely to see for these box sets in the future... :-)

Here is a bitter sweet post if ever there was one. Everyone, click on this link for an incredible bargain, but please read the review first:

The thing about the Mozart Violin Concertos is that they are not in Mozart's top echelon of works. He had a history with the violin himself and these works, I believe, are some of which he did not have his heart and soul in. I have four cycles of these concertos now, including Grumiaux, and this set is by far the best IMHO, given my penchant for period performances. Zehetmair does a good job I think and tries to drive these works which, as I have said before, do need a bit of a lift and a touch of sparkle to be added to them. If one was interested that is a good price for a two CD set.

^^ I know, it is tempting, but I've bought so much stuff recently, and I have the Grumaiux & Mutter sets as it is, ahaving heard the Perlman set, as well... I've just got to stop buying at the moment.
anyway, for all you Josquin fans out there... £2.43 inc P&P? There were 2 for sale... I had the first:
