YEA
dont think the clocks the issue
i was using these

ok
i bypassed the ps cap, inverter, transformer and the dc blocking cap on the output
much improved
far sharper image livelier sound atmospheric
probably more atmosphere than my clock
think ill leave this clock formula in for a while
update:
yep definitely prefer the ocxo direct into silverstone card over the txcos
more lively and more depth/layers decay etc
is difference is worth the cost or not?
theres probably cheaper ways to gain a similar lift in sq for most people
but this clock is staying in :)

OK, in the end still what was expected! :)
BTW, what is the difference in the cost?
Next step is ocxo on the MoBo? :)

ocxo>txco
well yea should be the natural order of things
when i was trying to fix the ppa v3 i was trying to figure out what the inverter, resistors, transformer and dc blocking cap is for because the signal always dis-improved on its route through the inverter, i also found resistors a signal bottleneck in other applications
i routed the signal directly into the transformer and dc blocking cap that had very little improvement sq wise
then routed direct to usb chip and i knew it was good
on a-b testing over many tracks the microdetail of the ocxo is clearly ahead of the tcxo
its apparent to me that the transformer and dc blocking cap is doing harm smoothing/dumbing down a superior xo to the extent that id prefer a txco without them
