The brass came in for the counterweight. Its working out at nearly 165g and looks the biz:

Now it all needs a good clean down, a bit of fiddling with the string to get the antiskate and height dialled in and we are almost done!!

I did my final clean and assembly last night (well I hope it was a final assembly!). So these are the finished pics. I have to make a new armboard for the Lenco to take the arm, so it'll be at least later on in the week before I get to mount it.

Thanks lads - the real question though is how will it sound?
I have to wait a little 'til I get the goo on me to go fiddle with it. Cart alignment etc is such a PITA!! Every time I do this I swear I'm gonna pony up the 250 spons to go buy one of those Dr. Feickert alignment gadgets. Meant to be the DBs....

Fran I've followed this thread with increasing admiration and finally awe at the workmanship. The arm looks magnificent. Hope it sounds at least s well as it looks. Congratulations. Nigel.

I have to echo all of the above Fran, really superb piece of work, just changing the litz wire on my arm brings me out in a cold sweat, respect...
