Do you have Abbado's 7 London symphonies with the COE? They are fab-u-lous.

I think these are magnificent works Seán. I too have the Borodin set. However the Fitzwilliam String Quartet recorded this cycle in consultation with the composer. It has been on my List for a long time so I decided that I must eventually have it!
