Is this the remastered vinyl edition Dave? What's your opinion both sonically and musically? I'm guessing you already have Spirit of Eden? A similar but superior work IMO....

I think its remastered version Dermot, I'm not sure but the record did look pretty new. Its certainly a very interesting recording and it will take a few more listens to 'get it' some more. Spirit of Eden is on my list. I'll probably pick it up next week sometime.

Can never quite decide if this or Pink Moon is the better record. I think I'd give the nod to this one.

Greetings from LA is what I have lined up to play after the above. Totally agree with you, a very underrated artist. Many have never even heard of him. Thanks to Paul (mcq) for introducing me to his work.

What do you think of Lorca and Starsailor?

I think starsailor would be my next favourite, but I'd give him a hall of fame spot based on greetings from la alone...

Think of it this way: Bright Side Of the Moon vs Dark Side of the Moon? Which would you rather? I adore both of them.....

Have a look here and scroll down inside the Fruit Tree box set....Compare the image of Nick on the sleeve of FLL with Pink Moon...
