After recent win update, 3.73 no longer has the issue of 's', and bass gets richer slightly

im testing new method import windows API function pointer into .exe file. but why sound more hard? finding reason...
this method not good, sound not correct. can't use it.

try new versions:
v3.74.2 , v3.75 ( these have the same code, only compiled by different versions of compiler)
v3.75.1 (more optimized alignment for code, sound may more balanced)

v3.75.x use compiler of visual studio 2017 last version. i like sound of v3.75, feel more analog.
-------------------------------

win10 has released new version 1709 called fall creattor update, people says good, musch better for multimedia, especially video.
JC, we will ugrade soon?

did you use lektmod.exe v2.0 for writting DeviceID string to lekt.exe before, and run on win10 ver. 1703 ?
i still use 1703 build 15063.632.
will go to 1709 soon, think this weeken.

have read on https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softwar ... /windows10
you need to create installation media using the Media Creation Tool (MediaCreationTool.exe, file version: 10.0.16299.15)
not sure that iso file can be downloaded, try it.

and more: "If you are re-installing Windows 10 Pro for Workstations on your PC, you need to create installation media using the Media Creation Tool and choose Windows 10 as your edition. When you start the installation, choose to skip entering a product key, and instead choose to install Windows 10 Pro. Once you are at the Windows 10 Pro desktop, from the Start Menu, click Settings then Update & security, and Activation. If your PC was previously running Windows 10 Pro for Workstations, click the Go to store button and you can reclaim the edition change to Windows 10 Pro for Workstations at no additional charge."

some people have the same issue. i will try installing win10 another day.

updating to 1709.... (just let win10 update itself... no need to use MediaCreationTool)

____________

3.68 sounds better with 1709!!

I think softness sounds much more correct than 1703

in my case: after running MediaCreationTool.exe 30min downloading progress 0% , even can't close it, hehe... but my friend downloaded and reinstall.
now need update, reinstall later by iso file.
