I opened this box to get a listen to the first disc as I was anxious to hear it....
....I was impressed with what I heard. Her touch was lovely and the music flowed along. If the rest of the cycle is this good then all will be very well!

This is completely charming, delightful and engaging music with great, assertive playing from Pepe Romero.

There is a great, full, rich orchestral sound on this quite stirring recording!

Giuliani Guitar Concertos 1-3....
The period instruments lend a softer, more mellow tone to the instruments and therefore (obviously) to the music giving it a warmer, more rounded and more gentle tone and texture.
