have update win10 to build 14393.953, not better, even sound more hard, not sure.. think can get good new win10 ver. in april.

Am still using 14393.693

Heard that build 15063 may not sound so good yet.... I shall wait a bit longer

Now my bios has no tweak. Windows has no tweak except brightness to 0% and sometimes do system cleanup...
AND put mouse pointer to UPPER LEFT most corner
And use 16 44100
Sounds pretty damn goood

I put lekt.exe to d:\!.exe and bat file to d:\
In this case, the less file and folder there are in the d root, the better the sound.

yes, sound more clean, clarity after reset these 8 bytes to zero. but need test more, maybe lost something or not.
today Microsoft provided update new win10 version 1703 build 15063.13,
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4016251
file size for cumulative update only 11 Mb, will update my OS and try new WASAPI. hope can get better sound.

have updated to win10 ver. 1703 build 10563.138
lekt.exe v3.68 still work in new win10 version

rebuilded v3.69 and uploaded with name v3.69 ord 15063_138 (just used new created .lib file, code no changed)
seems SQ better, need clean new OS for testing. try update win10, JC, i feel new system dll and wasapi core makes sound more stable, better balance.

i was also in this situation as yours when made update from usually method, so then need download Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant (for Creators Update) tool from:

and can get ver. 1703 build 15063.xxx
but retested SQ, why now sound more hard, softness lost, hm.. have seen in code of AudioSes.dll wasapi function GetBuffer() and ReleaseBuffer() call function EventActivityIdControl (that's different vs previous versions), think there's reason making sound bad. need learn more. bad, bad... sound.
maybe you don't hurry update to ver. 1703, JC. wait for what people will say about this Creators Update..

Updated my windows again. Now on 14393.1198. best sound for 14393x. (14393.1066 was terrible. Cold sound, mid is gone)

Still waiting windows to naturally update to 10563x.... Hehe
