I saw him around the same period (unusually for me not the Stadium though... I think) and it was stunning, Both Parker and The Rumour were just fantastic, raw and tight as something proverbial.

It's a strange one, sides 1,2 & 3 are 33 1/3 and side 4 is a 45 version of Hey Lord, Don't ask Me Questions. It would be interesting to see what's on the cd.

Listening, at this late hour, to the beautiful untutored voice of Kath Bloom backed by the bluesy extrapolations of her then-husband, Loren Connors. Music which never fails to break my heart and which simply confirms its enduring power every time you hear it. A voice of such emotional fragility, the breeze of this heartrending music has indeed killed me.
