It certainly does sound good.
Am using it now for pleasure listening, so no critical comparison tonight, but at the spur of the moment prefer it to 2.31

Listening to 2.40 with its control here now and it sounds very good, very smooth and very musical!
For reference I have 2.31 in a folder called "MQN My Detail" due to the fact that for me it does provide a lot of detail but for me detail is not the be all and end of all.
I have another folder called "MQN My Best" and I will be considering for the first time in a while adding 2.40 to it with its own MQNControl which will be a different MQNControl from my all time favourite 24 avx 100000.
I loaded AudioPhils 1.25 beta 3 today with Wasapi optimisation so not sure if this is making a difference or not but certainly enjoying listening to Gregory Porter which was introduced to several of the members during a get together yesterday by Maciej.
During the DAC comparisons yesterday we were using MQN 2.31 for reference and we heard some very enjoyable tracks at Tony's.

Have you compared to the new 2.41?
Curious how,you find it compares.
On my new mobo I have not been able to run control avx 100000.
Computers are supposed to be deterministic machines. Sometimes I wonder .... ;-)

The new 2.40 control don't work for me even in a bran new folder and after a reboot. But mqnplay 2.41 + control 1.1 sounds very good to me.
Does anyone got any tips? Or is it maybe a mobo issue?

have uploaded control 24 bit R1.3, which is the one I'm using. 1.1 just lost too much top end.

Tried the newest control and player. I think it it the right way to go, it's less shouty in my setup and better 3d imaging, the best so far.
