Possibly not what you'd call a 'bargain', but I just wnated to draw your attention to the Ltd Edition (3,000) copies of the complete box set of JEG's Bach Cantatas, which will be released in 2 weeks time:

Thanks for that Jared, I am aware that the set is soon due for release, it is one to keep an eye on that's for sure.

I was also aware of this upcoming release Jared. When you consider the cost of each individual CD set in that particular series that price of £139 is actually a very good price indeed! The only downside that I can see here is that I am presuming that each CD will come in some sort of cardboard cover and as a result one will miss out on the original beautiful presentation. However, if that does not bother anyone then I say a really good price for 56 CDs of wonderful music making.

^^ agreed unreservedly, yet it's still quite an outlay! continuing the theme however, I have espyed a Bach Christmas Cantata bargain of the Herreweghe variety...

Been listening to this on Spotify and seems like a very nice collection at a great price - £26.23 for 11 cds.
