No Joy Nige, given most of the discussion so far it appears to mostly tested on PC soundcards.
I expect they have improved in recent years but could never see me going back to a sound card again in a PC environment.
Cheers, Pearse.

Sligolad,
have you tried match your DAC buffer size with lekt player's? 2.4.3 and 2.11 have different buffer sizes for test. hope it works. e.g. 352 is 8ms. good luck.

never really understand why PCIe/PCI soundcard is obsoleting. your USB DAC probably connects to USB card connects to a PCIe slot, right? PCIe is still the king. that's why graphic card uses PCIe. USB interface makes you buy all sort of things.... i feel like scammed.

hmm... too!
think better 2.28, bass more correct, and vibration better. unfortunatelly, this method is not usable. OK, im making other next version. thx.

discovered something interesting for my soundcard using this program:
http://otachan.com/ASIO%20caps.html

my DAC supports these buffer sizes:
ms samples
1 48
2 92
4 180
6 268
8 356
10 444
20 884
30 1324
40 1764
50 2208
60 2648
80 3528

this is so f**ked up lol. none of these buffers matches MQn's 1024, nor any buffer size of ASIO4ALL.

1ms=48.
48*2 == 96 != 2ms because apparently 2ms==92
so wrong...

which buffer should i use for lekt player?

v2.29 is first lekt's mellow version that soundstage was keeped in normal width (usually width reduced a bit after vibration improved). your 2.29 mod_stack80to8hex is too, OK, more mellow, more vibration, all things keeped (width reduced ~0.5%, very good). think they are best of lekts, im listening piano, JC, happy...

XA's mod is 40to8hex

i am testing 80to8hex. very mellow. but a few things are lost.
