Cello music by Ernst Bloch....
Stunning music that is full of emotion and wonderfully played here.

So far I have listened to BWV 225 and BWV 226 and I must say this is heavenly music of extraordinary beauty performed by an ensemble who clearly love this music. It is wonderful. Thanks again Fergus.

I have made two very important musical "DISCOVERIES" in 2015 Seán, Georges Onslow and Ernst Bloch and Bloch would be the more important of the two for me.

Stunning, powerful and emptionally charged version of the Dvorak Cello Concerto. Very impressive!
Bloch's Schelomo is also a very impressive performance.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Symphony No. 41
Orchestra Mozart
Claudio Abbado conducting.
Catching up with some beautiful Mozart: I never cease to be amazed with the wonderful, colourful excitement of the final movement, it is life affirming; the Orchestra Mozart under Claudio Abbado's direction do it justice.

One can but wonder where Mozart's music would have gone had he not died at such a tender age.
