Ah it's great to see those sleeves again Fergus! I was never really a singles buyer but I did manage to get a copy of Johnny's Wedding. Barry's bass is really well captured here isn't it?

I must apologise for the lack of response to your post Jared. I know Fergus is going to berate for this but all my prog stuff is upstairs - all 18 steps! That's as vast as The Great Gate of Kiev in my current condition :) I do have that ELP album and I'm sure I also have Tomita's version scattered over a number of best ofs....It's the only Tomita vinyl I don't possess for some obscure reason as I adore the cover...and some of the music too but I can't remember which titles.

Funny that you should say that Dermot as it was the first thing that I noticed as being very prominent on listening after all this time.

I did not buy that many singles either but these were a must because I used to play them at 331/3RPM to learn them on the mandolin and then change the key back to the original afterwards.

Thanks Dermot,Paul's a dead ringer for Nick Drake alright,especially his voice.He's a great
guitarist as well,not quite in Nick Drake's league,then again not many are!
I can't believe this album is over 10 years old now.It's well worth picking up on CD as it's a good quality recording.
