I only have the Gardiner version Jared but I would like to hear that Harnoncourt version.

likewise... it is a piece which has long intrigued me, this version has received good reviews, and is quite cheap.

Well, my wife has just told me that this arrived in the post this morning and she forgot to leave it in my listening room for me:

With those forces playing that music your purchase should be a very good one indeed Jared!

^^^ my thoughts exactly, Fergus... I had his Dixit Dominus as part of an early compilation which got cleared out recently, so I felt I owed it to poor Alessandro to get another copy with some of the best forces available.

Now, I said I wasn't buying much at the moment, but I also think this is a sure fire banker...

^^ I think Isokoski has a delightful voice. Have a brief look at the Amazon reviews; most people feel she's very impressive in this repertoire, so it'll be interesting to find out.
