right, JC. tendency now is using win10, incompatibility problem is not much and can be resolved soon for all users.
win10 really better than older versions, that people says everywhere => i think ws2016 better than olders server versions.
learning win10 core dll file set, many functions rewriten, improved. seems infrastructure for multithreading changed, not sure, but at least it have improved big step forward. never mouse cursor has good movement like as in win10.

win10 auto-upgrade drivers is annoying. seems that sound gets worse here, and better there
(on my desktop overall sound is better. but on laptop sound is worsened)

it upgrades all drivers at once, i don't know what went wrong

for the time being, select "Never install driver software from Windows Update"
(even for audio i use MS driver)

only in mycase network card Dell Wireless 1703 works in office but don't work at home. touch pad is worse. driver issue? now can not online at home, hehe.. help me, JC!

builded and uploaded first version for win10: lekt.exe v3.43 256 win10
used standard functions of wasapi (as old lekt ver.), no trick audioses.dll and audiokse.dll. other functions used win10 syscall. for testing, sound refined, SQ big step forward. prefer win10 sound, my laptop still no tweaked.

new thing in win10: wasapi core use only 1 data buffer (win7/8/8.1 use 2 buffers and exchange after each loop iteration). there's many new things in core layers, need learn them from begining for trick.

My dedicated audio pc only has 16gb USB stick for boot/storage, not normally connected to ethernet.
I dont like upgrade as a concept anyway.
So I guess I will have buy Windows 10 Home, but things are a bit tight at moment... perhaps I go to the bank... when it is shut.

on dell website, it says my dell laptop is win10 compatible, and has win10 drivers. how about yours?
