Bruckner – String Quartet and String Quintet....
This is the first time that I have heard anything of Bruckner’s chamber music. I really enjoyed the String Quartet; it had a certain flavour to it. The Quintet was wonderful, especially the gorgeous slow movement which was full of pathos and there is great intensity all through the work. The playing throughout was of the highest standard.
