Any chance to make it as 448, please? I'm sorry, but there is some magic in it, IMO.

I haven't heard any magic yet. If I'm listening to led zep I want it to sound like some great machine rumbling along not like the beach boys. Just don't get the punchy dynamic sound with 448 and then there's what to do with the other sample rates.

best chance to hear is with live recordings, find extra live factor
try The Doors la woman etc etc, Van Morrison Please don"t go

Even if we all had the same systems we would still hear things differently. Some people like tubes, I don't, I am on opposite side. That's way I owe Naim, and 100000 fits into that court.
I will try 2.5 to see where it stands compared to my current love.

R1.4 and R1.5 just cracking noise!

I'm back to my last love R1.1. Second one and very close will be R3.5.

I'm listening to LD Whole Lotta Love on 1.5 448 and there's nothing missing. What a details and soundstage, it lacks only some dynamics on highs but that's not an issue to me. Excellent version.

mqncontrol.exe 24 bit R1.1 512 win8.1-r2 mmcss clock rate
mqnplay.exe 24 bit R1.1 512 win8.1-r2

Plays without a hitch

More 3 dimensional sound

Bass is enhanced compared to R1.0 , this much improves the overall listening pleasure in my system . This combo is my new reference.

Crackling occurs on R1.5 448 , and I haven't yet found a solution.

Aleg can u test this tonight? im away
Aleg, they're your nightly orders to go with the nightly release, lol

don't think it's a version you can play.
not the way i meant it, im a lazy typist
sometimes it makes me come off a little tackless
Sorry guys, that will have to be tonight.
Don't forget it's an hour later at my place than at your's, so I was in bed already.

Also I get up early at 5 something, and I do need some sleep. :-)

So tonight it will have to be. And as Gordon says, it might not work on mine if it is a continuation of the 1.4 code.

Cheers

.

I've been listening to this pairing for the whole afternnoon. It plays a variety of musical styles with ease . Its balanced across the full range of frequencies. At loud volume it remains coherent.

I recommend it , if you haven't tried it yet. Superb

seems like a slightly better flow with 1.5 448
but im having issues with crackling at the start of track similar to the old
2.72 448 movdqa raw background.72 448 movdqa and difficult to judge

might have to reshuffle the rgc thingy

any chance of removing the clockrate child lock on the mqnplay.exe too
