The pictures are fine, in fact they are huge. Even so large they make the website rescale its width and make the text difficult to read because characters have become so small.

---TWEAK 41----
destroying windows memory protection/security
Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit (EMET) 4.1
http://www.ghacks.net/2013/11/13/micros ... -released/
download at:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=41138
on my 2012, best SQ seems to be:
DEP: disabled
SEHOP: disabled //ALREADY DISABLED in win7
ASLR: disabled or enable //either has different effect. i tend towards 'disabled' coz more air.
PInning: disabled //default is disabled
remember to uninstall the program when you are done. coz agent will damage SQ.

I have not tried it (yet), but are you sure of its positive effects?
As I understand it it installs a new background process (and also requires .NET 4 installed) or am I mistaken?
Or maybe the positive effect of reducing the security checks outweighs the negative effect of an additional program?
Cheers

all win8/2012/R2 already has .net 4. so....
don't wana install program? pls edit registry.
for example, ASLR puts processes/dll in random locations in RAM so it is less predictable to be hacked. but it is still hackable. OS will try to protect stack and heap from being hacked, in effect, wasting CPU cycle? remember in the old days XP has nothing these craps.
who cares what they mean! listening is my final judgement. you should base judgement with ears. reasoning is pretty much useless in windows.

Ok, made images slightly smaller, and upped to TinyPic. Seems much clearer on my end, let me know if you guys have any trouble. Will up some SysWoW64 later today.

I have to assume you figured out how to rid your machine of TRUSTED INSTALLER!
I removed lots of stuff the other night and must have gone one too far and could not get the machine to work.
Had to re-install, which is simple enough.
There was a large file that had something to do with Korean language - not sure what it is called - first three letters were KOR and it is something around 14k.
I am writing from work - is this from a different file than SYSTEM32?
Remind me - are you using a sound card or something like WaveIO? One machine or two using a network?
Can't wait to get home and get to work.
INSPIRING WORK! Thanks,

wade, actually, no I haven't quite gotten rid of TrustedInstaller yet - seems like a lot of work! Will get around to testing it out soon, though.
Hm not sure which file the KOR file could be... out of what I deleted there's a "noise.kor" file, but that's only about 1.45 KB, and has a (assumingly Japanese?) corollary in "noise.jpn". There's a "korean.uce" in my SysWoW64 that's around 14KB.
Next step is probably trying to tackle winsxs with the same template of what to delete, but ugh that's going to be a headache with all the sub-folders!
Here's a small 'tweak' that I implemented by Bold Fortune's instruction, no idea about SQ given how DCOM Server Process Launcher probably is already disabled in most of our machines/builds - anyway, copied and pasted:
"DCOM Server Process Launcher
Per Microsoft: "The Distributed Component Object Model (DCOM) is a protocol that enables software components to communicate directly over a network in a reliable, secure, and efficient manner."
Most home users don't need DCOM; in that, most home users are operating stand-alone computers, and are not running any software that requires DCOM.
Windows Firewall Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) cannot start if the DCOM Process Launcher Service is disabled. PerfectDisk needs it too, so I personally cannot disable DCOM on my system.
In addition to disabling DCOM in Services, I've seen this registry change suggested. It seems to make sense, since DCOM, in actuality, is OLE (Object Linking and Embedding).
Navigate in the Registry to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\OLE
In the right pane, look for the string "EnableDCOM" and set the Value to N. (The default setting is Y)."
edit: Sorry, neglected other questions: I'm on a single machine. No soundcard/WaveIO, just a mobo USB3 port (shielded with some EMI/RFI paper) -> USB DAC, for the moment. Have considered things like Paul Pang's USB cards, but am hesitant to add more IRQ's/I/O/power draw into my system. Right now I'm using mqnplay 2.71 intel v2 as my player, sounds best out of the MQn versions I can get to work.
I did not realize what the WOW file was

I had been concentrating on System32 - did not realize that the file you worked on was so large. How I missed it is easily understood when you get to know me! I fixate over what I already know much too often.
I do know that taking lots out of System32 will result in a machine that will not boot. Luckily Server is just as modular as XP so if you save an untouched version of the folder you are excising once this is put back in you are back where you began.
The file I mentioned is in System32 and not 64. I checked last night. Still did not write down the name but it will stick out.
Now I see why this install is so large.
So are you using the onboard audio stuff? Excuse my limited understanding of all the ways to use a computer for audio. All I seem to know is what I have used!
