maybe works for you. rewrite code from wasapi core (GetBuffer and ReleaseBuffer functions) from audioses.dll.

have try rewrite many functions from ntdll.dll, combase.dll, kernelbase.dll,..., works for me, sound much more clean. but this version for your testing, rewrite only 2 functions + CreateFileW from kernelbase.dll.

forgot, need fullpath filename, ie. lekt.exe file "D:\music\track1.wav" , not lekt.exe file "track1.wav"

xy has some improvements from lea. treble better (less hard). stage more natural.
but emotion is weaker. 100% weight is great. but 99.5% weight feels also like 100%.

im very happy, now can go on new way to wasapi core. finding function where copy wasapi buffer into xxx-buffer so then can replace wasapi buffer with my buffer, and don't need load buffer. hehe... but not found. found one, tried, but don't work. OK will try more, there's most big secret of wasapi core, seems need learn audiosrv.dll's code. will go to win10 soon.

v3.41 256 xy have mistake in code, without one enter Critical Section. works, but sound compressed. found error, will fix.

downloaded win10, shall try it soooon. apparently little tweak is needed so looking forward to it

fix mistake on previous version, rearrange code for loop coz now loop have much code, 2 functions of wasapi core has rewritten and locates in loop. try test them. align32 different only by code alignment, code is the same. seems it's better.

v3.41.1 dupz and v3.41.2 align32 both are good, they have best SQ of lekt. dupz more clarity but lesser air.

think need refference to v3.34.2 256 sub and v3.39 256 lea. these 2 versions have very good nuances that dupz and align32 haven't. sub: good sound depth and stage, lea have specialy style/tempo/focus so i feel more emotion, very strong vocal.

agree, i feel the same here

dupz is brother of lea. vocal emotion almost fully kept. better bass, more soft, less intense. treble nuances lesser little bit.

align32 most bass and better bass, most soft. need more decay here

dupz new favorite here
