I've a couple of Jim o'Rourke scattered around my collection.... Insignificance,Eureka and one with Jeff Tweedy,Loose fur..
Must give them a listen.
Never got round to buying any Gastr del sol,I'll have a look out in the future.

Sublime alright.I remember hearing an album a while back with Grubbs and a few members of Tortoise I think.
Pretty good from what i remember.

Just seeing this now! Wow, I'm delighted that you like it :) Anyway to tell the truth all his solo albums are stunning in both music and sound....BTW can you remember the other album?

Well lads (cybot and jairdin) I have to hand it to you, reading your posts makes me feel like there is a musical sub-continent that has been left out of my atlas.

I'm not a great man for clicking youtube links but had a go at the last few posted.

Om does sound sonically very interesting, might go on a wishlist to bump up an order to free postage.

Grubbs et al did not immediately appeal to me at all.

No Disco, Dineen was my era, new baby in the house, watching videos of it giving the night shift feed, fond memories on many levels.

back to the mainstream!

Pixies, one of my very favourite groups. This is the MOFI SACD (red book layer), which remaster has a much nicer tonal mix (more bass basically) than the standard release.

SJB
