I know that he is somewhat out of favour nowadays but it seems to be forgotten how good von Karajan actually was as a conductor.
He did sign a contract to record the complete cycle Seán, I´m not sure what happened, but what he left is glorious, especially both Ninths.Seán wrote:I do like von Karajan.
