That looks interesting Fergus. Does the set contain all the symphonies?

It is a 10 CD set Dave with Symphonies Nos. 1-41. I will obviously let you know how I feel about it in due course but I am looking forward to hearing it!

I'd be interested to learn how it compares with the Pinnock set, which I own... :-))

Gosh I haven't listened to my Pinnock set in quite some time!!

I am old fashioned....when I listen to Mozart's symphonies I reach for my Hogwood set!!

Mozart: Piano Concertos 20,23,24,26 & 27
Clifford Curzon (Decca Legends 2CD)
Britten & English Chamber (20, 27)
Kertesz & London Symphony (26, 23, 24)

this recently re-released Decca twofer just makes you glad to be alive...

Fergus... I'm on a Mozart roll... first, the Grumiaux VC set, now the Curzon PC set... both solid 5 star offerings, which have made me revisit these pieces afresh... added to which, the recording quality on both 60's re-releases is rather incredible..
