Can somebody just remind me what Mqnplay and control is being used with 100000 as i seem to have missed that.
mqncontrol.exe 24 bit avx2 v1 100000, but you need to go to archive to get it.
Thanks Cvrle59 I have that but do I just use it with any MQnplay or is there a particular one?
Sorry, for misunderstanding. This is mqnplay that we call 100000, and it is in archive too.
mqnplay.exe 24 bit avx2 v1 win8.1-r2 100000/mqncontrol.exe 24 bit avx2 v1 100000
Some Dac's couldn't play it same as 448 versions. I had to get rid off custom Naim driver in favor of windows generic one, to make it work.
Good luck!

I tried the R1.1 and the R1.0 512 and I still prefer better the 100000 version.
R1.0 512 has better voice, more body, but the 100000 has better the everything else. The cleanest and smoothest highs and details I ever heard.

None of the mentioned versions plays any HiRez in my system!
With 24/96 I get distorted sound in slow motion and 24/88 does not play anything at all!
Am I the only one who can't play HiRez with the new versions?! I might be the "chosen one" and I don't even know! ;-)

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Sima, does the diverterhr/Wadia allow you to change parameters like latency ?

Thanks m5lig, but thanks to Cvrle59 I just found the problem!
Problem was in my "blindness"! To many R's and numbers and somehow I missed the 32R1.0 down on the bottom of the page! :(
Looks like me and Tony need to be "led and given water" in the same way! ;-)

Now it plays, but I'm not impressed at all!!
I'm sorry to say this, but I believe that the 100000 in 16/44 will sound better that any HiRez with any other version!
Not because the 32R1.0 is that bad, but because the 100000 is not from this world! Simply I can't stop listening! Every song is a completely new experience! The more I listen - the more I like it.

I hope that Gordon will/can make the 100000 in 32 bits. I can't even imagine that sound!
This is one PLEASE from me.

I can just repeate what Sima66 just wrote. I was afraid to say it first, but I am willing to give up hirez if it must comprise anything from 100000. I have never enjoyed music so much!
Thanks Gordon for the mistake you made when you compiled it:)))
Long time ago, someone said to me, "there are better looking cars, there are faster cars, there are more powerful cars....,but Mercedes is the best". It came to my mind regarding 100000 version.

well said. lobster breakfast everyday vs bacon and eggs

for 100000
1 core setup strains the sound, stretches the sound, redistributes mid to lower bass and to higher treble.
so, vocal (mid) feels thinner, makes airy (incorrectly).

try not touch any affinity setting. texture comes back. treble is richer. airy kept. much prefer this sound
no longer is 100000 'too smooth'. it is actually smooth with texture

100000 is the best

can't help you if you don't know what buffer size your DAC likes...

just don't forget 44100's clockrate is wrong for hires playback.
think most people here uses 23220. doesn't work for hires
remember to change it

im playing with it only with 16 44
with 100000 i like 448 clockrate
dunno if thats related to my dac or the period size of this version
