Went back again to listening to 100000, V7 and V14.
100000 very open and wide soundstage
V14 somewhat closed in and restrained
V7 again more space than V14
100000 and V7 very close, hard to differentiate, believe 100000 a bit more free and longer sounding reverb, and allows to flow a little bit better than V7.
Overall I would prefer 100000 over the others
Difficult times again.

V15 has gone the wrong way AFAIC, it has lost details and spatial character.
In my setup it sounds a bit clogged up, not with the airyness and openess of V7 or 100000.
It would not be my favourite.
Cheers

v15 128 might have more detail
v7 had a mistake so was not the correct way of doing things.
100000 is too lightweight for me.

Not at all, wonderfully deep and sonorous bass notes with a tremendous amount of microdetails and vibrations.
You should try to find this CD:
Alexander Ivashkin - Tatyana Lazareva - Prokofiev - Complete works for cello & piano (Chandos', CHAN 10045, England, 2003.)
and play the final track:
Sonata for cello solo in C sharp minor, Op. 134 (completed by Vladimir Blok)
This is my favourite test track for display of microdetails and depth of bass. It is wonderfully rich in wood and string vibrations of the cello and has incredible depth of bass. And besides it is a very beautifull piece of music.

difficult to get the balance right, can you try v16, it sounds more like a 100000 version.

am getting some sweet sounds from v16, hopefully that is the code settled. Just need to determine the best period sizes.

v16's been there since 21:00.
just uploaded a 512 16/44 version of v16 play/control ie period is close to 100000 and is 512 samples, 2048 bytes - I don't enjoy that sound though.
