Don't know. Is not easy to compare, because of the different hardware extensions. Need to remove them first.

Although jkeny did improve one substantially with battery supply
Didn't try jkeny's improvements, but I've found only small differences in sound quality between Haswell NUC and Ivy Bridge Mini-ITX (HW unoptimized) when OS is optimized on both systems. But it's quite different when it comes to HW improvements on Mini-ITX system.

yes agree
most of its to do with the ability to add hardware modifications rather than oob performance
is your m-itx built on a pico-psu system?

Yes, it has the Wide Range Pico-PSU (16 to 24V in) from PP.

None for me I downloaded the 10000 mqncontrol. Tracks do the usual pop up and load fine but no sound.

Not yet. But I've noticed that you have. Good experiences?
Unfortunately a good linear has a also "good" price tag.

has no one got the same setup as you with it working on avx ? Hate to think of you sitting on that uncomfortable fence.

uploaded v9 avx (renamed avx2 to avx as that's more accurate), spotted a mistake which mean't the SQ wasn't optimal, shall change the other versions later. Hopefully people will agree it's an improvement.

Apologies for those that thought v7 was good, you'll just have to listen to your record collection again.

Mistaken or not, I like it the best V7. V7b was to soft.

Tony, if this makes you feel better, neither I can play the 100000! I guess that we are on the same side of the fence! Is it grass greener on the other side?! ;-)
