Music by various composers; Conforto, Porpora, Hasse, C.P.E. Bach, Corradini, Marcolini, Nebra, Jommelli and Traetta....
To say that this music is played with verve and not a little swagger is putting it mildly. Terrific performances that come highly recommended.

I have just completed this Frescobaldi box set....
....and it was an interesting odyssey for me given that I was not at all familiar with the composer.

This is my third version of Fidelio that I have bought recently....
....and I have to say it is the one that has had the greatest impact on me in terms of a first listen to all three different versions.
