that's progress, think v3 has more detail. Think this is as good as I can get wasapi so next step is ks.

AVX2 V3 also working fine with Haswell i3/Ciunas combination and it has better detail too. These versions sound really superb lifting Hirez sound quality to new heights . First class and well done.

v5 avx2 is pretty amazing, fantastic detail retrieval and rock solid performance.

There is quite a difference in sq between the avx2 and sse2, wouldn't go back to non avx2 now.

Anyone with some spare cash and invested in pc audio get out there and buy a haswell device, you owe it to your ears.

One of my tests is Amandine Beyer & Gli Incogniti four seasons 24/96, recorded in a church, I have never heard so much detail as with v5 avx2.

Inclined to agree
Haven't done comparative testing yet but Avx seems to be the way forward
Between low power and the new instruction set
Seem to come out on top
200 euro would do a Haswell conversion for most guys
Would like to try smaller period size
Even if its to get it out of me head
sd card player, modded soekris dac, class a lifepo4 amp or gb class a/b amp, diy open baffle speakers based on project audio mundorf trio 10's

To be honest I don't think so. I use Asus Xonar Essence ST (muses edition) for testing purposes and it plays every possible audio format - literally, 1 or 2 ms latency is not a problem. There must be something else.

I have tried v.6/7/8/9 and on my system v9 sounds best (no sharp highs, but still - more than detailed).
