Very interesting to read your comments above Paul. I only have Egarr performing as an accompaniest.

Lovely balance of dynamic performance with rich sonics.

Again, interesting; the only Mozart that I have under the baton of Herreweghe is the Requiem.

Bit of a strange one here - some Mozart arrangements of Bach, some arrangements of Bach in the style of Mozart and some Mozart works in the style of Bach - very enjoyable nonetheless.

This has to be the most minimal set of the keyboard concertos that I've ever heard.    The deployment of one-to-a-part strings ensures the lightest, most transparent textures.  As a result, this is less of a soloist's set of these works than a truly ensemble effort.  Thanks to Linn's exemplary engineering, it is a real pleasure to hear the interaction of the strings with each other as well as with the harpsichord.  Speeds are on the moderate side, neither excessively slow nor too quick, but beautifully judged.  You can just imagine the musicians with the broadest of smiles on their faces as they play this music, such is the sense of joyful energy in these performances.  A wonderful, life-affirming recording.

Hi Fergus.
Listened to the recording in my office for the first time today and I am very impressed with the quality of the performance and the overall musicality. The quintet is superb as is the clarinet concerto which you recommended. The performance style combines original instruments with a somewhat romantic interpretation, less rigid and more flowing than the also superb freiburger recording, listened to earlier.
Thoroughly enjoyable and strongly recommended.
