Great work Nige, look forward to hearing more about your clocks.
Definitely no going back after hearing a good clock implementation.
I was saying to Tony recently that I felt like I had not been really listening to music before I heard the PPA clock on my last board it was such a leap forward with detail and a reality I had not heard before.
Looking forward to hearing your audio PC soon.
Will hopefully have my new board and clock plus the Meitner card next week all going well.....starved of good sounds this past week!

recently, bought some new light bulbs for the room.
as soon as i turn on the light, boom, dirty power kicks in, the treble goes into emergency mode. screaming treble.
now i turn off the light. the treble calms down.
now i understand where dirty power coming from.
everywhere in the house
need to buy a new house with only audio pc, amp, speakers....?!?!
i wonder if house sounds better than apartment?

You need to buy an "audiophile house" to go with the "audiophile PC" - who said this was a cheap hobby?
There must be a market for such houses:) ?
Maybe you can trial one on a 30 day basis?

Install a dedicated spur from the consumer unit (or even a dedicated consumer unit from the Henley box) for audio gear and keep all SMPS off it.

found an audiophile mouse
have had a G400... which looks like this:
didn't know it sounded so terrible until today.
retested 4-5 more mouses... here comes the winner:
coincidentally, i think this mouse is historically the world best selling mouse. thx to the Korean gamers

Jesus I can't agree with you on that mouse. I found it very harsh in the treble and bass seemed to the disappear would recommend people to steer clear of that one. Some of the other colours are ok probably better emi properties but their website doesn't mention any differences in manufacture of that model.

that's the best mouse i have... what should i do....
what mouse you got?
EDIT
wait a sec. harsh treble?
don't think so. did you plug in the mouse into a "correct" usb port?
i tested each usb port too. some usb controller shares irq with your audio devices.
EDIT2
(maybe i should try a ps2 port)
