That was their reputation in some circles alright, but I think it was unfounded. I always found them to be pretty neutral and have excellent finesse. As you say though, it's a bit off topic.

That's a ridiculous price for those. At the height of things they were worth about 2.5k second hand.

not as bad as adverts!!

there's loons on there, they'll ask 10% off rrp for 3-10 year old stuff...
Brass Bands are all very well in their place -
outdoors and several miles away....
