First up were a nice pair of Wharfedale XP2 speakers they were partnered to a Pioneer system.

My second were Tannoy 603's. A lovely little Speaker, very beguiling.

No3 B&W DM610
I honestly didn't know what possessed me to get these, they just didn't gel with my system, female vocals just got sucked back into the boxes.
Mind you with balls out rock you could head-bang all night.

No 4 A.V.I. Biggatrons, A crackin' mini monitor, super little box, blew away speakers costing twice the price.

For No5 I got more savvy, Quad 63's. I miss them still, but they just don't suit my room since I changed things in the house.

Currently and may well be the last (touch wood, fingers crossed nothing happens to them) Ruark Accolade's. A wonderful speaker I love them.

Not only is there a great array of speakers here.... the memory people have of what they have owned is pretty impressive!!

Looking back on the above I noticed a glaring omission, mea culpa.
Between the Quad's and the Ruark's, the very lovely Eist Dubh's.
Having been in built in Finglas, it was a mere hop and a skip to the greater metropolis of Naas Co Kildare.
Great piece of kit, now residing in my Son's home, still producing great sound.
