Have to say that I'm tempted by this. According to the Sunday Times it will retail at £215, which seems reasonable compared to what I've spent on other audio products across the years, although downloads are expensive at €11-€18 a pop. Not sure what charge there is, if any, for streaming.
Haviing said the above, I also thought that the Apple Newton was a good idea, as well as DAT and Minidiscs!

A few interesting points (albeit mostly negative) made here...

In Seattle at the moment and will have a few hours in the coming week to have a listen to some high end gear American style. Anyone got experience of dealers in these parts?

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Mister Darko lives in Sydney and he is an ok block(likes David Byrne and Talking Heads and writes complimentary reviews of JK's dacs!)
Besides that I think he is on the money about Arcade Fire. There albums are dreadfully mixed and as a result never play them. Foo Fighters similar to me anyway the mix is like a mincing machine on full throttle. Don't see what these artists will get from hires?

Enjoy yourself Terry somebody has to tough it out over there with all the hassle of finding hi end audio shops!

Think the shape will really work against it. Had to be as functional and trendy as the Ipod. Have a gander of american college kids staying for a few days and they all have Iphones.

Is this worth getting excited about? Old news, and nothing since, but I wonder if it's going somewhere.

Everybody knows this is nowhere Johnny ;) Seriously though this is a very interesting development. I'd say you're all made up seeing that you own a Meridian system and you've followed Neil through thick and thin.....I know I would :)
