That was pretty fast! Enjoy the experience. Oh, and don't forget to dim the lights ;)Diapason wrote:Regenerator just arrived. Feels lighter than I remember Pearse's being, but maybe my memory is off. Good service and speedy delivery from Power Inspired, though. Can't fault that.
Mains Cleaning discussion

Re: Mains Cleaning discussion
An old post but probably the most appropriate place. I had issues recently where low energy bulbs were flashing intermittently. On one occasion when some of the mad hifi crowd were around. Recently the tumble dryer started working intermittently. I had called a repair man to check the dryer out when my neighbours advised of problems with their cooker not working right. Pearse had a major issue at a meet when his 'super zuma' would not fire up in my place. It worked fine at home.
Eventually the penny dropped and the ESB were contacted. They arrived tonight and advised that there are some problem cables locally and managed to track down a box where they could substitute connections. Thankfully they have restored power to normal levels.
Luckily for me I have had the Jadis amp on a regenerator shortly after I bought it so it was not exposed. Same for the zuma.
Just shows how power supply can cause plenty of problems and it should be one of the first ports of call when problems arise. Of course the first thing to check should still be your tweeter screws but following that definitely worth looking at your power supply.
