That is interesting. Excuse the ignorance but what was the 16 speed for?

Apparently there were a number of 16rpm records made. Never actually saw one though

16 was designed for making 45's sound like the Incredible Hulk when you're a kid, allowing for much hilarity with a Des O'Connor single.
(And occasionally spoken word discs actually designed for 16, allegedly).

Hi Claus,
I bought my first Linn in 1979 - with the classic Grace G707/Supex SD900. I sold the lot to pay my college fees and remained 'Linnless' for the following thirty years. Last year I found a lovely 'afro' LP12/Ittok combo (built 1986 judging by the serial number). It hasn't been 'upgraded' as such and is fitted with a Audio Technica OC9iii cartridge and sounds wonderful. I'll be at the DAC group gathering on March 6th and will be happy to share any advice.

I admit I have little knowledge of Linn TT's, however whilst perusing ebay.co.uk I came across this item.

Ending in 6 days time and unfortunately does not post to Ireland. Currently at Stg 265 with 11 bids... it will be interesting to see what final price it goes for.
Unfortunately only two photos.. but looks great!!

I guess it should be between 650£ - 800£ with only local shipping. If it was EU shipping it could reach 1000£ and more. Every time is different
