My advice to anyone buying a CD player would be to get one with a digital input so that if you move to computer audio you can still use it as a DAC.

Haha - no wonder there's such so much popularity to tube rolling! Good news regarding the lifetime of a tube in a CDP application - a good few years there. Good point regarding digital input James, although I'm not ready for a move to compaudio yet, it's definitely a consideration.
I have a switch in my apartment but it doesn't do anything. Every once in a while, I turn it on and off. One day I got a call from a woman in Austria... She said "Cut it out will you!"
